Embedded Scapes, 2026
The Embedded Scape series is composed of canvas works referencing gestural body movement, organic growth and change. Transparency and layering are central; colors and forms read through one another, each layer mapping what came before. Pigment and pigmented fibers are poured and layered on raw canvas, some removed, leaving ghost images embedded in the surface. Dried fiber fragments are then collaged back in, adding texture and physical presence.
Material: Paper making acrylic colorants, pigmented fiber on canvas.
