Decem Aspirare (Ten to Breathe), Installed 2012

The sculpture is based on the bronchi and morphed into sectional forms that breathe rhythmically via feeder air hoses simulating the trachea. The colors of the outer skins are based on hand colors and reflect the diversity and unity we share as humans.

Materials: Stainless tubing, dyed and painted fabrics, industrial blowers, hosing, electronic & mechanical timing
